He had white horses And ladies by the score All dressed in satin And waiting by the door
Ooooh, what a lucky man he was Ooooh, what a lucky man he was
White lace and feathers They made up his bed A gold covered mattress On which he was laid
Ooooh, what a lucky man he was Ooooh, what a lucky man he was
He went to fight wars For his country and his king Of his honor and his glory The people would sing
Ooooh, what a lucky man he was Ooooh, what a lucky man he was
A bullet had found him His blood ran as he cried No money could save him So he laid down and he died
Ooooh, what a lucky man he was Ooooh, what a lucky man he was
Lucky Man (ELP)
When we are angry or pissed off, we blame our luck, we wish we were never born. But then someone reminds us that we are better off than a lotta people, poor people, the invalids and all, and we feel better . So I was thinking there must be people in the world who cannot be consoled by being told that they are better off than someone. There must be people who don't feel good about life at all, who have nothing to live for, don't they wish that they go to sleep and never wake up.The poor people, who beg to get food on their table , do they parents or anyone close tell them that hey atleast you're not poor-er. I mean it can't get worse for some people. I wish I could spend a day in their minds. I really do. On that note I'd like to thank God, something I should be doing quite often and the next time I get suicidal I should THINK twice. cheerio.
Come you masters of war You that build the big guns You that build the death planes You that build all the bombs You that hide behind walls You that hide behind desks I just want you to know I can see through your masks
You that never done nothin' But build to destroy You play with my world Like it's your little toy You put a gun in my hand And you hide from my eyes And you turn and run farther When the fast bullets fly
Like Judas of old You lie and deceive A world war can be won You want me to believe But I see through your eyes And I see through your brain Like I see through the water That runs down my drain
You fasten all the triggers For the others to fire Then you set back and watch While the death count gets higher Then you hide in your mansion While the young people's blood Flows out of their bodies And is buried in the mud
You've thrown the worst fear That can ever be hurled Fear to bring children Into the world For threatening my baby Unborn and unnamed You ain't worth the blood That runs in your veins
How much do I know To talk out of turn You might say that I'm young You might say I'm unlearned But there's one thing I know Though I'm younger than you Even Jesus would never Forgive what you do
Let me ask you one question Is your money that good Will it buy you forgiveness Do you think that it could I think you will find When your death takes its toll All the money you made Will never buy back your soul
And I hope that you die And your death'll come soon I will follow your casket In the pale afternoon And I'll watch while you're lowered Down to your deathbed And I'll stand o'er your grave 'Til I'm sure that you're dead
This is the new Radiohead song 'All I Need' , after watching this I think the new album is worth the wait. Its been 4 long years since Hail To The Thief.
